Our History

Quality Chemicals was formed in 1999 to acquire the Shell Chemical Jamaica Company’s third party chemical distribution business. Prior to the establishment of Quality Chemicals, Shell built the business for over 40 years in the area. Today, our company remains the sole Jamaican distributor of a wide variety of drummed solvents.

Helmed by all-Jamaican owners armed with years of experience, Quality Chemicals has expanded to become one of Jamaica’s most trusted importers and distributers, providing raw materials to a diverse range of the country’s top manufacturers.
